Combining traditional and digital art techniques, the Artist aims to capture the unpredictability of paint on paper merged with modern art technology. Working with a mixed range of mediums, the pieces often start in the traditional realm before ending up in the digital space. Inspired by flowers, nature, the ocean, the movement and flow of life, the rhythms and harmonies in music; her art usually begins without a plan allowing the creative process to take lead…a cacophony of colour and ideas that sometimes produces ‘Art’ but always, makes for a creative burst of chaos!
Having lived in the state of Queensland, Australia all of her life, Renée takes inspiration from the beauty and natural world of her surrounds. A classically trained musician who works in the corporate world and immerses herself in the creative arts to encourage a healthy life balance (or chaos as it sometimes seems), her art is usually bright and bold; created with the intention to bring the colours of the outside in with her art often reflecting the calmness and serenity of coastal life!
